Lovers of indie rock will be travelling to Bangkok next month to see The Naked and Famous Live at Moonstar Studio.

The New Zealand-based musicians will be playing in the Thai capital on January 17th 2012 for one night only as part of their current tour, which will take in Japan and Australia before they head to the US in March.

Since the release of their first studio album Passive Me, Aggressive You in 2010, the rockers have become a hot property, winning recognition for songs such as Young Blood and Punching in a Dream.

They will arrive in Thailand having played at some of the most famous festivals and venues in the world, including sets at Glastonbury in the UK and Fuji Rock in Japan.

It will be the first time that lead vocalist Alisa Xayalith, who is of Thai/Chinese descent, has performed in Thailand.

Doors will open at the venue at 20:00 local time on the night, with the performance itself commencing at 21:00.

Tickets are now available online for 1,000 baht (£24.30) each.
