Press Release Body: Midnight Madness will prevail at Midtown Comics in New York City
on Tuesday night, September 9th as we celebrate the release of Dark Tower:Treachery
and The Stand: Captain Trips, both inspired by works of legendary author Stephen
King.

Peter David, writer of the Dark Tower comic books, is revered for his work on The
Incredible Hulk (often considered the definitive interpretation of the character),
as well as popular runs on Wolverine, Spider-Man, Aquaman and Supergirl. Mr. David
is also a NY Times bestselling author, well known for his Star Trek novels, and his
original fantasy novels Howling Mad, Knight Life, and the trilogy Sir Apropos of
Nothing.

Mike Perkins is well known for his artwork and inking for DC Comics, Caliber Comics
and Crossgen, including fan-favorite work on Captain America, Spider-Man, The
Fantastic Four, The X-Men, The Ruse and now The Stand.

At this event we will also celebrate the birthday of Kathleen David (Peter’s wife),
and all of his readers are invited to participate!
