New Wines Launched On The Laithwaites Website

Released on: August 25, 2008, 11:33 am

Press Release Author: Fiona Muller

Industry: Food & Beverage

Press Release Summary: Laithwaites launch a new pair of Argentinian wines on their
website. Full of flavour and a delight to drink they are well worth a try.

Press Release Body: Visit the Laithwaites wine site to be the first to try two new
wines from Argentina.

Argentina has a wine heritage that is the envy of many of the new world wine
producers. The industry was started by the Spanish and has gradually been honed into
an efficient machine which produces some of the best tasting most accessible wine in
the world.

Laithwaites are proud to announce the addition of two new wines from Argentina to
the website. Available on their own or in a mixed case these two wines are some of
the best wines to come out of South America this year.

El Grigio Pinot Grigio is a glacier-fresh, deliciously rich Pinot Grigio. Which will
be an excellent choice for drinking on its own or with fish or chicken dishes it is
also exciting proof you don\'t have to head to Italy for the finest bottle of this
type of wine. Also at 11.5% alcohol it isn’t something that is too strong making it
the ideal summer drink.

As The Times says \"transport the grape to Argentina and you get a lot more flavour
and finesse for your money\".

The other wine is a Malbec Shiraz Oak-Aged Reserve which has a buzz about it. Grown
in Famatina – the ‘Valley of Fire’ the grape grows in one of the worlds highest
vineyards. This allows the grapes a longer ripening time and the extra ripe fruit
creates a wine with a high alcohol content that is just the right accompaniment to a
rich steak.

Both wines are a delight to try but just remember because they come from Argentina
there’s a short delay with the wine. It will be all the better for the wait!
