The luxury couples-only resort was awarded an impressive fifth place in the best hotels in the Caribbean, Bermuda and Bahamas category of the influential magazine\'s 2008 awards, and was scored 85% overall by the judges.

Set on the beautiful west coast of Jamaica, Couples Swept Away is an exclusive tropical hideaway, featuring 312 luxuriously furnished suites and a complete all-inclusive service. Guests can eat at six unique restaurants which feature tastes from around the globe, incorporating Caribbean, Latin, Asian and Continental cuisine. The award is the latest in a string of accolades for Couples Swept Away, which was also named the most romantic resort in Jamaica in the 2006 Trip Advisor Travelers Choice Awards and voted top all-inclusive Caribbean resort in the 2006 Condé Nast Readers\' Choice Awards.

It was a successful year for the Couples resort group, as Couples Swept Away\'s sister resort in nearby Negril also ranked in the top ten of the Travel and Leisure Magazine awards.
