Press Release Body: As usual, ASAF has the pleasure to celebrate with you another key event. The 20th edition of EuroBLECH – Hannover, the world’s leading technology exhibition for sheet metal forming, will be held this year from 21st to 25th October 2008. The whole chain of the sheet metal working technologies will be here well represented: metal sheet and finished and semi-finished products, handling, separation, forming/sheet metal flexible working, machine tool parts, tube and profile working, connection and welding, surface treatment technologies, tools and moulds, as well as control systems. On the base of the last editions’ results, TRUMPF takes in great consideration this exhibition, confirming a “remarkable” presence in terms of space occupation and commitment aimed to welcome many delegations from European and Extra-European countries in order to present them important manufacturing novelties. Thanks to the participation in this event, ASAF, proud partner of TRUMPF for used machinery and equipments, will be able to provide the best manufacturing solutions to its customers through a constant research and development program, in order to increase its competitiveness in an increasingly open global economy. This will be remembered as the best edition ever held with an about 15% increase of the exhibition area. As a matter of fact, it is worthwhile to point out that since 2006, the German EuroBLECH boosted an attendance of 1,409 exhibitors coming from more than 40 nations and was visited by 64,000 visitors, 36% of whom represented 73 foreign countries. The global success of the last edition – and of every EuroBLECH edition in general – in addition to the extremely positive forecasts on the forthcoming event in October, convinced the organizers to export his know-how abroad. A series of events has been scheduled for 2009: BLECH RUSSIA (from 10th to 13th March 2009 in St. Petersburg), BLECH POLSKA (from 27th to 29th October 2009 in Kielce) and BLECH INDIA (from 18th to 20th November 2009 in Bombay) are all specifically addressed to a local audience.
These three exhibitions actually cover all the segments of the metal sheet manufacturing process, such as metal bending solutions, moulding, drawing, automation, flexible manufacturing systems, metal supply, cutting, punching, tooling, laser technology, CAD/CAM, finishing/coating, quality assurance and material handling.
