Services (BMS) introduced BMS’s first Small Business Relocation Package. The package
was developed to accommodate the unique relocation needs and business demands of
small businesses.

Press Release Body = BMS’s Small Business Relocation Package is targeted toward
companies that typically relocate 5 – 20 employees per year and have fluctuating
employee relocation volume and employee needs. One feature of the small business
package is that services may be added at any time for a single relocating employee
on an as-needed basis. In addition, almost all of the services have set fees so
companies know up front what their expenses will be, which is critical for budgeting
and recruiting. These features are helpful to small companies in particular because
of their often times inconsistent volume of relocating employees which makes it very
difficult for them to secure reasonably priced services and be competitive with
larger companies when it comes to the hiring package. Small companies may relocate
only renters one year and have two homeowners the following year who require
additional relocation services. This a la carte-style small business package offers
everything from basic moving and storage services to more complex services such as
temporary living assistance, expense management and home sale/finding assistance.

BMS has a proven record of developing innovative relocation programs and operational
systems for its corporate clients. According to Sheri Lawrence, many of BMS’s recent
developments have been geared toward companies relocating more than 500 employees a
year. Recent research and interviews with executives at small companies, however,
showed that the unique relocation needs of small companies were not being met by
many of the relocation programs offered in the industry. “We need to listen to our
customer and prospects,” said Lawrence. “Relocation programs should be developed
around their needs, not the service providers’.”
