Press Release Summary = Leading International Law Firm Hires Cynthia S. Pladziewicz

Press Release Body = The international law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP has
announced the addition of Cynthia S. Pladziewicz as Chief Development Officer. She
is a former Thompson & Knight real estate attorney with 10 years of experience as a
clinical psychologist in private practice at Baylor University Medical Center in
Dallas.

Pladziewicz will focus on attorney development through structured programming,
mentoring, and coaching at the practice group and firm-wide level. She joins the
Firm on January 1 and will be based in Dallas while maintaining a rotation through
the Firm’s various offices.

Partner. “Her knowledge of our Firm, practicing legal background, and counseling
experience uniquely position Cindy to implement attorney development at all levels.”

Pladziewicz received her undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of
Oklahoma in 1979 and her law degree from Southern Methodist University School of Law
in 1982. She practiced real estate law as a partner at Thompson & Knight from
1987-1991 before returning to graduate school. She obtained her doctorate in
Clinical Psychology in 1996 from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical
Center. Pladziewicz has also served as an adjunct professor in the Department of
Psychology at Southern Methodist University.
