Press Release Body = After more than a decade of helping lead companies to growth and development through sales and marketing consulting, Tarsha Polk started her own marketing consulting and business coaching company called The Marketing Lady™ to specifically help business owners and professionals develop marketing strategies on a budget. She has functioned as an eCommerce manager, sales manager, director of marketing, and entrepreneur.
Tarsha has practical experience in corporate environments, mid-size companies, and small home offices. Her clients benefit from these experiences as she works toward their goals. The Marketing Lady™’s clients include new ventures, small businesses and established corporations.
Tarsha Polk was recently elected to the board of directors for the newly formed Dress for Success Dallas, a non-profit organization encouraging self-sufficiency through career development and employment retention for disadvantaged women. She is working with Dress for Success on its grassroots marketing efforts. Tarsha played a pivotal role in booking and promoting celebrity Vivica Fox of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars for their first annual fundraiser held on October 26.
Tarsha Polk is also affiliated with several community and professional organizations such as the National Association of Women Business Owners, Collin County Black Chamber Board of Directors, Dallas Black MBA Association, and Young Executives for Success. Additionally, she serves as the Vice President of the Urban League of Young Professionals.
